About me
Hi, my name is Barak. I'm a professional pastry chef from New Malden. I moved to the UK in 2009 to pursue my career in patisserie. I graduated from Le Cordon Bleu in 2010 and have worked for several years in leading London bakeries, such as Ottolenghi and Konditor & Cook, as a head pastry chef and as a production manager. In the last 3 years I have been focusing on my family whilst contin

uing to create and test my recipes and develop my baking and decorating classes. I have established my company, The Baking Party, in 2020 and I am looking forward to sharing my vision and products with you. The Baking Party is now fully registered with Kingston Council as a food business and was given a provisional food hygiene rating of 5 ✰✰✰✰✰! My vision
I love baking, I love teaching, I love cakes (who doesn't) and mostly enjoy infusing happiness into people's lives with my cakes. I believe in high standards and aesthetics and am proud to be using only high quality ingredients in my baking. I care about the environment, therefore, all our packaging materials are environmentally-friendly and are either recyclable or degradable. I care about what I do and thrive to provide the best care to my customers. Our services
We are a small family owned business, currently based in New Malden, London. We provide a range of services listed below.
- Kids/Adults baking parties & classes
- Baked to order Celebration cakes
- Small cakes & tarts (as featured in New Malden & Surbiton Farmers' Market)
- Brownie sharing boxes (for collection or by post anywhere in the UK)

The summer holidays are coming to an end, which means it’s finally (!!) time for the kids to go back to school… and for the grown-ups to celebrate with a little cake!

A little glimpse into today’s choices at Ripley’s Farmers’ Market… and what a delicious selection it was! Seeing all these boxes filled with your favourite bakes always makes us smile.

Thank you to everyone who stopped by today, for your lovely comments, kind words, and continued support. It truly means the world to us (especially in this hot weather).

A big thank you to Ripley Farmers' Market for having us once again. We can’t wait to be back in August with more handmade treats and a few new surprises.
