🤍 Where your wedding cake is positioned at the venue is hugely important.

🤍 Your venue might say that “all cakes go on that table over there.”

🤍 WELL NO THEY DON’t.

🤍 Challenge the wedding coordinator if this is said. Your cake should be placed exactly where you want it.

🤍 Your cake should be in the best position available for you and your guests to enjoy it for as long as possible.

🤍 It is a focal point and a beautiful photographic opportunity.

🤍 Maybe there’s an archway, a fantastic piece of antique furniture, a spot at the bottom of a grand staircase. Look around your venue and choose the right position for your beautiful cake.

🤍 I am always banging on about the cake table, please consider it as you would your top table, it needs decoration, candles, fairy lights, photographs, rose petals etc.

🤍 Talk to me about cake stands.
Most venues have the standard silver cake stand. Often well worn and very old fashioned for today’s modern bride.

Suzie and Daniel were recently married and asked for a treat tower to suit their autumn themed wedding.
I was thrilled to leave my wedding cake creation at the beautiful Hobbit Hill 🧡

Honoured to make one of my treat towers with small cutting cake for Chloe and Adam who were recently married at Inglewood Manor. An autumnal theme was the order of the day and the venue was styled perfectly to suit the theme.
Obviously I tried my best to bump into the bride and groom and they kindly agreed to have a photo with me, in my pinny 🤩
