100 loaves sold. 🥖
At the end of January, I set up LOAFly as a way to continue my hobby of baking bread and wondered whether anyone other than friends and family would want to buy a loaf from a stranger.
A few months later, I've just passed 100 loaves sold!
What started as a hobby has become one of the highlights of my week. It's been great to meet so many people in Needham Market and the surrounding villages who share my love of great bread. Some of you have driven out of your way to collect a loaf, many of you have come back for a second, third or fourth time, and I'm genuinely grateful for every order, recommendation and message of support. Thank you also to those who gave the sourdough focaccia, hot cross buns and sourdough pizza dough a try along the way.
To celebrate, I'm giving away a **free loaf from any upcoming batch**.
To enter:
🥖 Follow LOAFly on Instagram or Facebook, if you aren't already
🥖 Tag someone in the comments who you think would love LOAFly (ideally someone local who can collect from Needham Market)
🥖 Share this post to your story (or repost it)
The winner will be drawn on **30th June**. One winner will be selected from Facebook and one from Instagram.
Thank you to everyone who has supported LOAFly so far. Reaching 100 loaves feels like a pretty special milestone for a one-man, nano bakery.
Now onto the next hundred... 🍞
And after the summer, I have some exciting plans for SOUPer LOAFly (homemade soups to accompany the bread), along with more sourdough products. Think bagels, ciabatta, pretzels, sandwich loaves and more.
P.S. The next batch is baking tomorrow and I have **2 loaves remaining** if anyone would like to reserve one.
