Good morning everyone it’s Sept 1st which means one thing…

WE’RE BACK 🎉

This weekend is our first market in over 6 weeks as we’ve been on tour driving to Norway. Vegan food hasn’t been in plentiful supply so when we have found somewhere we’ve been happy to share it with you.

Now our focus has switched back to our other passion vegan baking. We have just 3 markets in September as we are away for a mini tour later this month.

I will post October dates this week too.

So on Saturday we drive to the South Wales Vegan Festival at Cardiff. This definitely gets us back into the swing of things and we can’t wait.

Will start to post a selection of our bakes and what we are bringing later this week.

Our last day in Bruges we had a great brunch followed by afternoon tea 😂

Brunch was scrambled tofu and avocado on a bagel. Really tasty from Blackbird Coffee Club

Afternoon tea was a vegan waffle with ice cream nuts fresh fruit and caramel sauce from Otto Atelier Waffles. Omg we were stuffed but not before we had a Belgium beer

THE nicest breakfast was at Jord Malmo in Sweden. The scrambled tofu was perfectly flavoured with rosti and tomato. We had one of these each!

We then shared the American pancakes with fresh fruit and maple syrup. Omg it was just divine. Light fluffy pancakes with just the right amount maple syrup drizzled on 👌

We would always recommend this cafe fully plantbased and consistent high quality even 3 years apart. Loved it!

Gorgeous vegan bagel. BBQ pulled soya. Perfect breakfast this morning at the Lofoten Beach Camp.

Had a lovely brunch in Tromso at Fint. It’s a vegetarian cafe with vegan options and a great retro vibe. This was the highlight of our Tromso visit 👏

This was one meal we shared! Now call us tight if you wish but there was one vegan option on the menu…
12 small falafels (tiny) with lettuce and tomatoes that’s it

So we added a bowl of fries and thought it would be rude not to try the brownie (R&D) plus 2 coffees

We shared the falafels 6 each (we counted them 😂 ) split the fries and then sat back and admired the view.

What you want to know how much one meal, one dessert and 2 coffees came to. (Drum roll)

£44 yep you read this right £44

This is why we tend to make our own.

I will share some supermarket prices with you soon as it makes the cost of living in our home town look a whole lot different from where we are now.

Anyway we actually enjoyed our falafel and fries can’t wait to see where we eat next

Cafe Bar Lubeck does great vegan bagels. Didn’t fancy coffee today so Kola it is

Michael had red pepper and hummus

I had avocado and hummus

We came back later for wine and beer before we headed back to our van for baguette and pate from Rewe.

Popped out for a stroll and lunch in Groningen on Day 4 of our trip to Norway. We are still in the Netherlands and off to Germany tomo.

Lunch was ok but needed more flavour to tempt me back or be able to recommend it. Salt would have made all the difference to both dishes. Couldn’t fault the staff or service though and the simplicity of my lemon and ginger infusion made the taste pop.

In the interests of full disclosure yes we visited IKEA and had their plant based balls. Really enjoyed it tbh 😂
