This was a very special cake for a truly special lady 💙

The brief was a 60th birthday cake with a cadet theme — and I wanted to create something that felt elegant, majestic, and beautiful while still honouring the pride and tradition of the Army Cadet Force.

Deep navy tones, subtle tartan detailing, thistles, and bespoke toppers all came together to give that perfect balance of strength and sophistication ✨

This year’s challenge: the Jellycat marshmallow cake 🤍✨

🍫 One cake: chocolate sponge, chocolate ganache, chocolate chips, wrapped in marshmallow fondant
🤍 The other: white chocolate sponge with marshmallows and sprinkles through every layer, wrapped in white chocolate ganache and marshmallow fondant.

Was it stressful? Yes.
Was it worth it? Also yes — especially for her 💕

🎄✨ Honestly… I’m still buzzing! ✨🎄

Today was absolutely wild — I sold over 170 cakes. One hundred and seventy!! That’s actually insane 😅🎂💖

So to come home with a small handful of cakes is absolutely amazing!

Thank you SO much to everyone who came by, had a blether, grabbed a treat, or supported my wee stall in any way. You made my day — truly.

I’m chuffed, grateful, and finally clean from all the cake mix and icing sugar 😂✨

Here’s to more days like this… thank you from the bottom of my buttery, sugary heart 💕
