A BIG THANK YOU TO MY MUM 🩷🩷

My right hand woman, loads of you have met my mum and she is amazing, though at times she say I’m a crabit f@cker but 90% of the time I’m a good boss 🤣🤣

Thanks to our friend and customer Sophie for taking this lovely pic yesterday at the Balloon Festival 🩷📸

I’m catching messages for the next hour until 1pm and then I’m going to have a wee day at home with Shelby and the family.

STRATHAVEN BALLOON FESTIVAL THANK YOU SO MUCH SOLD OUT ON THE FIRST DAY 🩷🩷

Thank you so much to everyone who bought goodies for their dog today! Honestly your support means the world. We were not expecting to sell out on day one. So honestly thank you so much 🩷

The downside being that we will not be trading tomorrow as we wouldn’t have time to make more stock.

Thank you to the festival for running such an amazing event and for having us again this year hopefully we will be back again next year for the 3rd time.

SHELBYS DOG BAKERY AT STRATHAVEN BALLOON FESTIVAL 2026

SATURDAY 29th and 30th AUGUST DOG FRIENDLY

TREAT YOUR FUR BABY YOU WILL FIND OUR GAZEBO SET UP IN THE MINI RAILWAY AREA IN GEORGE ALLAN PARK

WHAT TO EXPECT SAT and SUN

Park and Ride open from 11am - see pinned post for locations on FB. Limited blue badge parking is available using the car park off Glasgow Road. All park and ride locations also have accessible buses.

Main Stage and Bandstand Stage both open with local bands/musicians from 12’noon. Gary Faulds officially opening the festival at 1pm on the Main Stage.

Stalls/funfair/catering units all open by 11am.

Later in the day, weather permitting / approx times:

Balloons from 12’noon Balloon tethers in the Arena, look out for Thomas 🚂

4pm Sky divers parachute jump

6pm Evening balloon flights

9pm Evening Glow (OUTSTANDING)

Plus the boating pond, classic cars, flight simulator, the wee train and more.

Honestly it’s such an amazing event.

I hope to see you there to treat your fur baby we will also have birthday goodies on display for you to see.

YESTERDAY WAS NATIONAL DOG DAY 🩷🫶

We are so busy prepping for the Strathaven Balloon Festival this weekend 🎈but I couldn’t not post a pic of our sweet boy Shelby.

Can you believe Shelby is 12 next month…..I wonder what his them will be 👀👀

I feel like I’m juggling so many balls just now but I know it will all be worth it. Keep an eye on our page for website updates…..I’ve had so many messages about Halloween too we won’t be releasing spooky goodies until mid-end of September! 👻🎃

We don’t only do dog friendly birthday cakes we also bake birthday themed goodie boxes with plenty to share or simply for your bestie to enjoy 🩷

The cookies last for 8 weeks and the bakes last 7 days or freeze for up to 2 months.

Drop me a message or order online. We will have more goodies online very soon. We are on holiday until Monday but my mum is still working away getting orders out for your fur babies!!
