🛑🛑🛑CLOSED! Picked out of ripe fruit🛑🛑🛑

Who’s ready?! 🍓

We’ll be open on Wednesday 27th May from 10am until 5pm to pick our early ripening strawberries.

We only have a small amount ready to pick so will update you all tomorrow evening on any further opening days this week. Don’t worry though it looks like it’s going to be a bumper crop so there’s plenty more to come!

🍓£3 entry fee per person (15+) (redeemable against fruit purchases only)

The mini ferris wheel 🎡 and inflatable slide 🛝 will be open. We’ll also have slush 🥤ice cream 🍨 and freshly made doughnuts 🍩 available.

🌳 Staying safe in the sun and enjoying the woodland at Bawdon Lodge Farm 🌳
☀️Whilst we enjoy the mini heatwave, it's important to stay safe in the woodlands. Areas of our woodland are shaded, however, the gravel on the car park , concreted area and grassy areas can be hot for doggy paws.
🐶 Please take walks at cooler times of the day and owners and doggies should stay hydrated - We have two dog bowls at the entrance to the coffee shop which will be topped up throughout the day.
❄️ The Gift & Coffee Shop has a lovely flow of air when there is a breeze coming through the doors or air conditioning for those dryer days. The cool floor is ideal for doggies to rest.
🍦Doggie ice cream and treats are available on our Doggies menu.
⏰ Open 10am until 4pm - lunch menu served until 2pm, counter service until 3.45pm including cold drinks and ice cream.
🥵 If the weather is extreme and custom is low; we may shut earlier.

As you may have seen, we have the exciting opportunity of hosting the biannual National Beef Association (NBA) Beef Expo on Saturday 30th May 2026. Under the banner of 'Beefing Up Food Security', this event is huge for the farming and food production industry, and we want YOU to be a part of it!

🌟 Stall Holders Wanted! 🌟

To go alongside the Beef Expo trade stands, we'd like to showcase the best of Melton Mowbray and the surrounding areas' production. We have a very limited number of stall spaces for crafters, artisan producers, local traders and small businesses to sell throughout the day. Availability is on a first-come, first-served basis.

The event runs from 9am until 5pm, and stallholders will be expected to trade all day to serve the few thousand expected visitors on site. Gazebos are encouraged, and tables can be provided for no extra charge if needed.
