🎬 LIGHTS, CAMERA, CAKE! 🍿✨

A very special cake for a very special celebration! 🎂

I had the absolute pleasure of creating this two-tier showstopper to celebrate 5 fantastic years of The Montrose Playhouse! 🎉

Inspired by all things cinema, the design featured the Playhouse’s iconic branding, a filmstrip showcasing 13 films from their recent audience favourites vote, memorable movie quotes (a couple of which you’ll actually spot within the Playhouse’s décor!) and plenty of Hollywood sparkle! ⭐️

From the bold red and black buttercream to all those little gold details, I absolutely loved bringing this one to life! ❤️

A huge congratulations to everyone at The Montrose Playhouse on this wonderful milestone. Thank you for trusting Heather Bakes with such a special part of your celebrations! 🥰

Here’s to many more years of movie magic! 🎥🍿

✨ Special thanks to Made By Kirsty for helping bring my design from sketch to reality with these fabulous custom-made card toppers and edible images! 🎬⭐️

18th birthday, but make it ✨ Stargirl ✨ 🖤

A special cake for a special 18th birthday celebration last Saturday! 🥂

All-black buttercream with lots of vintage-style piping, silver shimmer, pearls & tiny stars, finished with a completely personalised Spotify-inspired edible print featuring the birthday girl herself. 🥹🖤

I absolutely loved bringing this one together — such a cool, personal design for a milestone birthday! ✨

A special request for a lovely girl’s 18th birthday 🤎🍓

And I absolutely loved the message she chose for the top 😂

A deep Biscoff cheesecake, topped with a Biscoff drip, fresh local strawberries from Seahills and Biscoff biscuits.

“Oh sh*t, I’m 18!” 🤭✨

Happy 18th! 🥂

🌟 A cake from a galaxy far, far away… 🌟

R2-D2 and a Stormtrooper joined forces for a very special 7th birthday! 💙🖤

I had so much fun bringing this Star Wars cake to life — definitely one of those designs where all the little details make it! ✨

Happy 7th Birthday! 🥳

Pretty in pink for Carolyn’s 18th 🌸🎀

I’m a little late sharing this one, but this pretty vintage-inspired cake went out earlier this year to celebrate Carolyn’s 18th! 🤍

Finished with soft textured buttercream, classic piped borders, dainty pink fondant roses and pretty pearl details. ✨

Such a pretty design for a special birthday! 🩷

Finley celebrated turning 4 with this bright Monster Jam cake! 💙🧡 Complete with chequered flags, Oreo “dirt” and his very own monster truck on top.

And underneath all that bright decoration… chocolate cake with chocolate buttercream 🤎🍫

Half a cake for half a birthday 🎀💕

A little throwback to April and this sweet half-heart cake made to celebrate a very special milestone — halfway to one! 🥹

Vintage-style piping, tiny pink hearts and all the bows for a little one turning 6 months 🎀✨

And somehow it’s nearly time for her actual 1st birthday cake already! 🥹💕
