Today, after a quick turn of events, it is with deep regret that the team at Marchbank Bakers have decided to close all stores with immediate effect, for the foreseeable future.

We would love nothing more than to stay open, however we feel because of the recent effects of COVID-19, it is essential for the health and well-being of our staff and customers to close our doors.

We feel after the government advice provided this week, as a local business and members of a small, tight knit community, we must contribute in lessening the spread of the virus.

We want to take this opportunity to appreciate our wonderful staff who have continued to work hard and serve our customers with a smile. These are very difficult times and it is others who pull us through, thank you! We value you all and look forward to having everyone back on the frontline.

To our wonderful customers, we want to express our greatest gratitude to every single person who has walked through our doors in these extremely difficult times. We can’t thank you enough for the continuous support and can’t wait to see you all again.

We will all stay in, stay safe, and come back stronger than ever!
