One paint pot for Matt's birthday - little madeira cake with strawberry jam & strawberry milkshake buttercream made with Sugar & Crumbs flavoured icing sugar. Also used that to make glace icing for the paint drip. Loving the wood effect masonite board and a wooden dowel makes a great stirrer 😉

Made with love - nice tropical vibe going on for this bunch of goodies. Took inspiration from the invite we received to our lovely friends party to celebrate all the important family events that happened in lockdown - it really was a perfect day! ☀️🎉🥂😎

So not having done anything for a while I had two special occasions this week. First was for family, a 30th birthday for Emma 🥳🥳 my favourite part was the framed pic of Toby dog ❤ (all edible but never going to be eaten 🤣). Secondly, a wedding cake for a friend's friend who was having trouble finding someone to make it and was going to have a supermarket cake 🤷‍♀️ not going to let that happen so just a simple but effective design. Used artificial sunflowers from Dunelm for this, only £2 a head and absolutely lovely 🌻 no chance of breakages either as it had to go to St Albans. Floating stacked effect (that's what I call it anyway) to make it easy for them to collect and put together with no worries - taken as three separate cakes and then just put together with no bother on arrival - worry free for all concerned, job done!
