Another day, another 🦆. This one is heading off to Tom who is throwing a party for his child’s first birthday. We worked together matching the colours of the duck to his party invitation and theme. This one will be left a while to ensure it’s fully hardened before sending because of the delicate balloon! Handmade with it will dry very hard which ensures it keeps its shape, but can also be kept as a keepsake after the event. Contact me if you’d like a quote for a bespoke topper.

Ok, I am going to milk this cake because it took me days! I know, I know, there’s a lot going on, but what 7 year old doesn’t want a cake full of colour, chocolate, sugar, and their favourite films and games rolled into one?!

I designed this as I went. I knew the rough idea in my head but it developed as I went! The Magic Faraway Tree was a huge inspiration behind this cake. If you haven’t seen the film yet, you must!

Waddledee! Google him if you’ve not heard of him before 🥲

The trunk of the cake was chocolate cake! Can you guess what the clouds were made from? It wasn’t cake… #7

I actually re-did Mario’s head as I wasn’t happy with the size! Made from sugar! Though we’ll be keeping our Mario as a memory.

I absolutely loved making this and my little boy saw it before his party so he could enjoy all the little details. I wonder what next year’s theme will be?!

For Kathleen ✨ A set of 6 mini wafer paper roses and a David Austin rose, in light to medium pinks. Honestly, the pictures do not do these justice! Every petal has been hand cut and coloured and carefully handcrafted into a delicate flower. Please contact me if you’d like to discuss adding wafer paper flowers to your special cake.
