Do you like baking? I absolutely love designing cakes, making toppers, and decorating, but do not enjoy baking! A kitchen that ends up looking like a powder room from icing sugar explosion, and the worry of serving up raw eggs is not my idea of fun. However, my son’s birthday is fast approaching, so I’m trying to decide if I save my sanity and pay a local baker to whip up a delicious sponge, make it myself (and accept the fact that I’ll look like a 🦞 at the end), or jazz up a supermarket cake that has 199 ingredients in it. Not to be dramatic but I would love to have a child who is into all things mermaids (and not Lego Marvel superheroes, like my son!) as I’d love make a perfectly pink seashell cake with these toppers.
