I am definitely a ‘less is more’ kind of person, until it comes to cakes. Anything goes and there’s no rules! This gorgeous little chick is off to London this week. I love the use of both wafer paper and modelling paste to give lots of beautiful soft colours and textures. As always I have used pasta model by I start with white and hand dye my paste to get the colours I need ✨

Dusky antique tones for Jessica ✨ I loved creating these rustic colours and cannot wait to see the final cake. Each petal has been hand cut and dyed using wafer paper and then carefully handcrafted into a delicate flower. Did you know that water paper flowers are completely safe to be in contact with your cake, unlike many real flowers? You can also keep them as a memory from your special day for many years if you don’t want to eat them!

For Catherine ✨ a selection of wafer paper roses. This set includes 3 large roses and 3 minis. They’ve been individually handcrafted using wafer paper and each one sealed with food safe wax so there is absolutely nothing else to do, apart from decide where to put them on the cake!
