About Us
Firstly let me tell you about us since we met it quickly became clear that we had a mutual interest for baking, this quickly developed into a passion that both of us enjoy sharing. Over the course of the last year we have made cakes for friend’s birthdays as well as work colleagues, and each project has been met with very positive feedback and based upon
that we have decided to take the next step and make our passion into a business as well as something everyone can enjoy because after all who doesn’t like cake? We are both self taught and everything that we have learned has come from recipe experimentation and trial and error, with each project presenting new challenges which saw our skills grow. We bake from our kitchen at home and what we do has a rustic homemade charm about it and everything is made by hand so a lot of love and attention goes into every cake we do. The Bear
My name is Andy and I am the main baker out of the two of us and can make a variety of flavoured sponges, fillings and frostings and have a good knowledge of decoration of either cupcakes or big cakes; I also make pastry for pies and tarts and biscuits as well. The Princess
Lauren is the main decorator and is accomplished at piping and crafting figures from fondant to give cakes that wow factor whether it is cupcakes or larger cakes; she is the creative Yin to my baking yang.
