I've been wanting to create a small two tier wedding cake for a while to utilize some exciting new products. I bought a beautiful fondant roller from .options this embossed a beautiful pattern onto the fondant. Subtle but in the light it looks elegant and adds something 'extra' to the design.
I love using pasta cover to cover my cakes! It's so easy to work with, thick and smells glorious, it also tastes delicious.

All florals were hand crafted using sugar flower paste that not only smells fantastic it's wonderful to work with.
The Florals were then hand dusted for added realism using edible dusts. Stunning colours that can easily be mixed and shaded to find that perfect colour to add depth and bring the florals to life!

This cake will be on display in my studio and at various events over the coming weeks!

This Special 60th Birthday Cake with matching cupcakes was collected at the weekend.
Having been given a brief to include purple and turquoise colours, favourite Florals such as fuchsia's & roses and a hand made teapot topper for an avid tea lover!! 🫖
I came up with this beauty 😍

A four layer 6 inch lemon sponge cake with lemon curd filling a smooth lemon buttercream. Covered with a purple ombre buttercream with flecks of gold.
Floral wreath hand piped using buttercream and a little teapot created using pasta model Sugarpaste.

Perfect for a special occasion 🎉🎂

This cake was delivered locally on Tuesday for a special 70th Birthday family gathering

The client asked for a yellow themed cake featuring a mix of yellow and white Florals in a crescent shape on top. Yellow being Grandma's favourite colour!
The request was also for a Gluten Free sponge.

I really loved creating this cake and was thrilled when I received some beautiful photos of the cake being enjoyed.

Just thinking back to last Wednesday when I was piping this beautiful cake in preparation for the following day. My first commissioned wedding cake on one of the hottest days! 🥵
From mood board, to drawing to creating. This cake looked as pretty as a picture 🌸💮🌹🪻🌼 & entirely edible!
