Looshkin chaos for Sam’s 10th birthday 🎉📚
And what better day to share it than World Book Day!

A vegan chocolate sheet cake with salted caramel frosting, finished with a bright buttercream design inspired by one of his favourite books. The librarian in me was very happy creating this one, and the cake decorator in me loved bringing all that colourful comic chaos to life 🩷

Sheet cakes are such a brilliant option for children’s parties. They’re easy to serve, feed a good number of guests and give plenty of space for bold, fun designs like this.

Kuromi vibes for a very special birthday 🖤💜
I’ve been lucky enough to make many cakes for this lovely family over the years, and it honestly means the world when people come back to me time after time.

This one was dairy free so everyone could enjoy it safely. As a mum to a child with a dairy allergy myself, I know how important it is for children to feel included at their celebrations, without compromise on fun, flavour or safety.

Kuromi has been glaring at me every time I opened the baking cupboard, judging all my life choices 🫣

So many families enjoying cake smashes at the moment and I am here for it 🙌🏻🩵

Arthur had the best time today at his cake smash to celebrate his birthday tomorrow, he had a blast exploring the set and believe me when I say he was fast!
Full of smiles for the camera too which means a gorgeous gallery for mum and dad!
I think Peter Rabbit has to be one of my favourites so I really enjoyed recreating this for Arthur today, thank you to Emily at Y Becws Bach - The Little Bakery for today's beautiful cake.

Have your cake and eat it too 🤍

Last month marked two years of working with Cherish Me Photography and I’ve loved creating so many smash cakes for her sessions 📸

Smash cakes are just the start. I also create bespoke first birthday cakes and cupcakes for sharing with family and friends (ones that don’t get smashed! 🤭)

From now on, cake smash families can enjoy a special thank you when booking their child’s first birthday cake with me within three months of their smash session.

Time for another cake smash today, a safari theme for Eli, who didn't rush with his cake, instead he enjoyed taking little pieces bit by bit, which meant there was plenty left to take home for later to share with mum and dad!

First day back in the studio for me today and it was amazing to see this little guy again, can’t believe it has been almost a year since his newborn session.
He absolutely loved his cake and spent almost the entire session with his face to the cake!
I’ve had an influx of cake smash bookings over the last few days, so if you’re considering booking one please don’t leave it too late.

✨ 2025, finally wrapped up ✨

Yes, I know… halfway through January feels a bit late! 🫣😅 Life needed some time and energy behind the scenes, but I am finding my way back to baking now.

2025 pushed me well out of my comfort zone, but I am so proud of the bakes, the progress, and the lessons learnt along the way. I have still got cakes from last year that never made it onto the grid, so expect a few throwbacks while I catch up!

A huge, heartfelt thank you to everyone who has supported my little business, whether you ordered a cake, liked or shared my posts, or recommended me to someone else. It truly means more than you know 💖

Lots of plans for the year ahead, so stick around for the ride. Here’s to 2026 🤍✨
