I wanted to take a moment to show you a closer look at the handmade fondant figures and finishing touches from this Shaun the Sheep cake. Every character was individually made by hand and designed especially for Efan’s birthday cake ☺️✨

This Shaun the Sheep cake was made for Efan’s 3rd birthday. Efan is actually 4 now, which tells you everything you need to know about how far behind I am on sharing cakes! 🤣🙈

I’ve got a whole backlog of creations from last year still waiting for their moment, so consider this the start of a little catch-up series 💖

Complete with Shaun, Bitzer, the Naughty Pigs, and all the farmyard chaos you’d expect, this super tall cake was packed with handmade fondant figures and tiny details. A huge thank you to Efan’s lovely mum for coming back to me again and trusting me with the design. Being given a theme and the freedom to run with it is always such a treat! 💚

Keep an eye out, there are plenty more cakes still to come! 🐑🚜🌿

Looshkin chaos for Sam’s 10th birthday 🎉📚
And what better day to share it than World Book Day!

A vegan chocolate sheet cake with salted caramel frosting, finished with a bright buttercream design inspired by one of his favourite books. The librarian in me was very happy creating this one, and the cake decorator in me loved bringing all that colourful comic chaos to life 🩷

Sheet cakes are such a brilliant option for children’s parties. They’re easy to serve, feed a good number of guests and give plenty of space for bold, fun designs like this.
