My final cake of 2025 was one of my absolute favourites, for Beth and Luke at Bury Court.

They had fallen in love with some of my previous styles, so together we designed this beautiful cake, featuring smooth neutral buttercream with a textured soft pink and champagne detail. Edible silver leaf added the final wow factor.

As ever, it was wonderful working with the best wedding florist I know, Holly from .wild.flowers.uk who styled the venue to perfection.

This was an absolute stunner of a wedding at Upwaltham Barns!

Sarah and Ben wanted to keep the cake simple and classic, but we made it modern by adding a painted top edge to accentuate the beautiful buttercream textures.

I finished the cake with vintage roses cascading down one side, which were unbelievably pretty and made it a real statement piece.

A modern take on a 3-tier cake!

This lovely couple fell in love with a few of my designs, so decided to include them all in this fun and colourful cake display.

Cutting the wedding cake traditionally symbolises the couple’s first shared task as newlyweds, representing their commitment and teamwork.

In modern times, it also often marks the start of the evening party!
