It’s so lovely to be part of a very special occasion and that’s one of the things I love about my job…
Mum, Debbie together with daughter, Lucy came to me with a cake idea for a surprise baby shower. With a mix of pink and blue, some baby clothes and a personalised cake topper, I designed this cake, keeping the secret inside the sponge! Yes, I was the only person to know the gender of the baby, and had to keep this under wraps even after collection day, until the cutting of the cake!
Emotions took over when Lucy came to collect the cake with her mum, making us all a bit teary, 🥹 happy tears though, they loved the cake!
It was such a lovely moment to be part of, and I feel very lucky that I got to hold onto their secret and create something that made the reveal even more memorable.
