I hate negative post but here's one 🥺

When cake orders are made I usually take despoits unless you've been a customer of mine for a long time.
In the madness of booking this customer in id forgotten to ask for one, Lesson learnt from my side cos it definitely will not be happening again.

After the cake should have been collected yesterday and many message of communication with this customer and rearranged for another collection this morning the cake still hasn't been collected.
So I feel I've been now backed into a corner to cancel the order and I feel I've been messed around all while moving things around for it to be collected.
Anyone who knows me knows I will go above and beyond for my customers.

I've removed the icing and message on the board as id hate for the person who the cake was for to see it.

So if anyone is after a Last minute cake at a discounted price then maybe this one's for you.
The cake is a vanilla sponge with chocolate buttercream and Bueno finish.
I can add a name or age to the board too.
The Cake will be good to at least friday maybe longer if stored correctly which I can explain.

Please help a baker Girl out and try and not to be totally out of pocket as small businesses really can't afford to take hits like this.

Greta and Little Greta are now closed after a fantastic Weekend 😘

I'm left with only a handful of bakes which is truly amazing 👏

Looking into this week coming and the crazy crazy temperatures that are coming our way 🔥
Wednesday and Thursday are the start of my baking for the sheds and both days I do around 15 hours in the kitchen.
Both days this week coming are predicted to be 33 to 35 and as much as I want to open i also have to be realistic and know after battling this week and the heat in the kitchen it will be another level.

So I'm sorry to say that I will be closing for the weekend friday 26th to sunday 28th not a decision I've made lightly may I add I've fought myself to make this decision 😢

I know people may think its only a Cake Shed but there's alot of hard work that goes into them.
Greta is my passion and I get so much Joy from seeing you all visiting and feel so guilty and that I'm letting you down when I have to close.
I've battled so hard this Weekend against the heat even tho I have little Greta for the Chocolate bakes.
But just know that if these extreme temperatures are like this outside what will it be in my kitchen when the ovens are in full force and safety will always come first.

I do have a evening planned away Saturday My family was going to man Greta but by making this decision it makes it alittle easier on everyone in my family, As much as I'm the baker, none of it would be possible without them behind me 😍

I'm so sorry to anyone who was planning on coming next Weekend 😪

But for this Weekend I hope you've all enjoyed your bakes and thank you from the bottom of my heart for your constant support for my little business 💙
