There’s only seems like one thing appropriate to post today..

We want to send our heartfelt condolences to Mackenzie’s family & friends at what will undoubtedly be the most difficult time of their lives. 💔.

We’ve been watching this unfold and know some of our customers are close to this. Like them, we were praying for a happier outcome.

My best friend & the very first customer of The Cookie Smith got married over the weekend!

I had the double honour of being asked to be a bridesmaid and to make Jess & Andy a 3 tier cookie pie as their wedding cake.

I’m always mega self critical, I’m very much still learning & I have an incessant need for things to be perfect so David did have to endure some tears on Friday morning when the pie was decorated but as Jess so eloquently put it ‘you could make a cookie from s**t off the floor and I’d still think it’s the best thing I’ve eaten’ 😂😂.

Obviously she was right & the dessert table got nothing but compliments! It went down a storm on the wedding day & also as hungover breakfast for everyone yesterday morning. No better breakfast if you ask me.

Thank you Mr & Mrs Hunter for letting us being apart of your day in more way than one. It was the best day celebrating you both! We love you ❤️💍👰🏻🤵🏼
