Have you heard about the Carers STAR Project?

The project provides support and assistance to adult carers living in Merthyr Tydfil. The project provides information and advice and can signpost carers to a range of other local services. The project works with carers on a one-to-one basis and also hosts carers get together for a coffee, cake and a chat at The Railway Café Tea Rooms based at Dowlais Community Centre - run by The Stephens & George Charitable Trust. It’s very informal and offer a friendly warm welcome. We run the group every Thursday 2- 4pm.
