Our beautifully packaged afternoon tea comes complete with 2 of our delicious homemade Scones, clotted cream & jam, 2 mini Victoria sandwich cakes, 2 Cake pops, 2 chocolate brownies, 2 decorated shortbread biscuits & chocolate strawberries

Afternoon Tea boxes are £25 each and can be collected from Greenhithe, Dartford or Meopham.

Alternatively, we can post them to you four an additional £3.50.

💞 Mother’s Day Afternoon Tea 💞

Can’t see Mum this year? Surprise her with this box of home baked delights. We have:

2 Buttermilk sultana scones with jam and clotted cream.
2 individual Victoria sandwich

💞 The first of our new treat boxes have gone out today! Surprises for some special people! 💞

We can do treat boxes in any colours you would like and have any mixture of biscuits, cupcakes, cake lollies, chocolate hearts, sugar roses etc and they can be personalised for the occasion.

Prices will depend on what you would like in your box but on average they are £25 each

Mother’s Day is coming up, birthdays, anniversaries, in fact - any celebration!

Well, another Christmas has gone so quickly!

We wanted to show you our Christmas cakes which we normally do courses for each year

Hopefully things will get back to normal soon, so if you or a family member would like to learn how to make these sorts of cakes or the skills involved, please let us know.

We also provide gift vouchers (which will be extended if needed in accordance with lockdown rules). Ideal for those with birthdays, Mother’s Day, etc coming up! 💝

A message from The Fruitcake Factory

Dear Friends,

I have waited to send this newsletter because, I’m sure, as many of you, I really thought that this Covid-19 virus would be a minor hiccup in our so busy lives!
How wrong could one be!!!

I remain working isolated at the studio. My wonderful team, Martin, Tom, Hazel and Julia remain working at their homes.

We wanted to let you know that you are in our thoughts. We hope that you and all those that you hold dear, remain physically and emotionally in good health during these very difficult times.

As we speak, we are arranging our classes which will resume as soon as it is safe to do so.

In the meantime, should you have any questions regarding your baking or cake decorating, should you just need a chat...............

We hope to see you very soon.

Learn how to prepare the centres. Colour and create gradual shading of flower paste. Prepare individual petals using life size cutters, soften, vein and shape. Construct your beautiful specimen rose. Create realistic rose leaves and colour using a build up of powder. Gently glaze using steam and confections glazes. Learn taping and presentation skills.
