Hello everyone,

Firstly we’d like to apologise for the silence on our end we have really appreciated all the messages of concern and support.

It is with an extremely heavy heart that we must unfortunately announce the closing of our beloved shop. It’s been a rough few months and this is not a decision that’s been taken lightly. Blood, sweat and tears have gone into making Amare the amazing place it was.

However, prices continue to rise, food, rent, wages go up, all things out of our control which make it almost impossible for a small business to survive.

We have loved every minute of being open to you lovely lot and we thank each and every person who has walked through Amare doors, shared our posts or passed on good feedback. We genuinely loved getting to know you all. What amazing people we have met!

It may be time for Amare to close its doors but this is just another chapter for Mark and I have every faith in him and know how much people value him and his food. I hope you can help support him through this difficult time and new adventures 🩵

Last week’s Prix Fixe menu chocolate mousse dessert!

CHOCOLATE MOUSSE - COMPRESSED STRAWBERRY - CHOCOLATE CRUMB - STRAWBERRY SORBET - MERINGUE PENCILS

All made in house by myself and it went down really well light but rich.

We’ve still got some tables available for this week so if you want some of the tastiest food around make sure to book a table.

So this happened!

We’ve been awarded OpenTable Diners Choice Award!

This award means so much and shows how far my small business has come and I couldn’t have done it without all of our amazing guests!

We’ve been open just over 1 year and we’ve been on an absolute rollercoaster. There has been bad days but the good far out way them. I’m so grateful for everyone that enjoys what we do and what I’m trying to accomplish I hope that I can only get better and better. Finally starting to put New Marske on the food map!

This Thursday we will be doing one of our ever so popular steak nights! This is £65 for 2 people and will include: a bottle of house red or white wine, freshly baked house bread, two eight ounce sirloin steaks good to your preference, roasted tomatoes, house salad, chunky chips, chard broccoli, nduja mac n cheese and sauces.

This is only available Thursday 6th of February and is bookings only!

It’s been on our menu this week and will also be available week! HERB ROASTED CHICKEN BREAST, CREAMED MASHED POTATO, KALE, MUSHROOM & PANCETTA SAUCE. Such great flavours packed on to a plate of food!
