A huge thank you for the sell out yesterday and all the support over the last year or so 💛 The shed started out as a little project for me to get back on my feet after surgery and became something really lovely but also a beast I couldn't keep up with 🤣 We've had many visitors from tractors 🚜, to the Police 🚓, from lovely locals that come out every week to my wonderful friends and family that have supported me throughout ❤️ Not forgetting my lovely Husband who has set the shed up for me every other week, done the washing up when I've made a mess and had to dash off to work and no matter how many little ideas I have always says "Yeah, ok you'll do it anyway" 🤣

I'll keep this page open for any cakes I do and it might get a little name change. For now i'm going to enjoy a little free time with Annie Pants who has been very patient with her busy Mummy 😉

💛 Important Cake Shed announcement 💛

After a lot of thought, I’ve made the decision to close my Cake Shed, with the last weekend i'll be open this coming weekend, 25th and 26th April.
Running it alongside my main job has become increasingly challenging. There are a lot of legal requirements I need to meet to make sure i'm correctly insured and compliant with EHO. Between meeting these requirements and the baking itself its become overwhelming alongside work and life in general and I need a bit more balance. Correct insurance for a cake shed (because its unattended) is much MUCH higher than your average cake business so its sort of an all or nothing venture, so opening the odd weekend just isn't feasible either, which is a shame because that would probably be the perfect solution!
I want to say a huge thank you to everyone who has supported me — whether you popped out to the shed, recommended me to others, or simply followed along and encouraged me. I know there are people that come to the shed EVERY WEEKEND or thereabouts, and i'm really sorry i can't continue.
Thank you again for all your support — I truly appreciate it ❤️
