We currently have an open position for an experienced barista/front of house!

You’ll be the face of the Bakehouse on Sundays, serving great coffee, welcoming our community with freshly baked bread, pastries and cakes.

⏰ Sundays only - 5 hours per week
☕️ Must be confident on the coffee machine (ideally at least 1 year of barista experience)

We’re looking for a passionate person to join our growing team at our bakery HQ in Leicestershire.

We make long-fermented sourdoughs & laminated pastries. we’re looking for someone who genuinely loves the craft of baking to learn & grow with us.

The Role

Full-time position Wednesday–Sunday, 4am–12am
• Producing artisan breads and bakery products
• Working as part of a small and supportive team
• Maintaining high standards of consistency, organisation and cleanliness help keep bakery running smoothly.
• Potential delivery to our retail shop & local wholesale accounts.

We’re Looking For Someone With:

• Some bread baking knowledge
• Good organisation and time management skills
• A positive & creative mindset and who enjoys being part of a team and learning new skills
• Pride in producing exceptional products consistently
• full clean driving licence
• ideally over 25 years old

It’s the early morning bakers, the front-of-house teams who know your name, the suppliers, farmers, coffee roasters, and the local communities that choose to support independent businesses every day.

Right now, many hospitality businesses are facing enormous challenges, which is why we’re supporting the campaign and its call to reduce VAT for hospitality from 20% to 10%.
