I'm really sorry for the late notice, but I'm afraid I won't be able to host this month's Make and Mend Social tomorrow evening.

I'm away Friday to Sunday for a 26 mile walk in the Peak District so I'd rather spend the evening with my boys, plus it's likely to be tropical still and quite honestly, I don't want to leave my house in this weather!!

Normal service will resume for the last Thursday of July, so I'll see you then! 🪡❤️

A different post from me today, I've been ramping up my walking efforts and have also started running (if you know me, you'll know how much I hate running!), working towards a Trek26 walk in the Peak District in 2 weeks time.

It's to raise valuable funds for Alzheimer's Society which has affected my family as well as so many others.

I'll be walking 26.3 miles with a group of friends, starting off at Bakewell, we'll take in some beautiful scenery as we tackle 998m elevation, that part is going to be tough!

It's the Make & Mend Social tonight at The Village ❤️

Come along and mend your worn clothes, I'll show you how and you can borrow my supplies, or join our collaborative quilt project. You can also bring your own sewing, knitting or crochet project if you like.

We'll be in the main room between 6pm and 8pm, no need to book, just turn up. Message me with any questions 🙂
