Hi there I am Erica and I own and run Ice Cool Cakes from my home in Margate.
I started Ice Cool Cakes to make people, especially children Happy. I think I have achieved that and more. I love what I do but over the past couple of years I have realised that its not just about making everyone else happy but myself aswell. What I do takes time and patience and cannot be rushed. Each cake I make is Bespoke and unique while I try to recreate from pictures you send me I do not copy. If I receive more than one order for the same cake each one will have subtle differences as I make each one unique.
I was told once that “Good cake aint cheap and Cheap cake aint good” I didn't understand back then exactly what was meant. I do now. Whilst my cakes are not the most expensive they are certainly not the cheapest either. I take pride in making each and every cake with love, but this takes time and effort.
Whilst I strive to keep my prices low I do have to earn a living aswell and when 1 model can take up to 3 hours to make, my price needs to reflect this. I also take a small Deposit to cover me if anything should go wrong and to secure your date for your cakey goodies.
