2 years ago today…
I got the keys to make this place my own after baking from home for 5 years 🫶🏼 it was impulsive (as usual!) and I only told 1 person so no one could talk me out of it because I had so many dreams of creating the most wholesome little community coffee shop where everyone feels welcome, customers become friends, we could share the most amazing coffee and bakes and support other local businesses, but fast forward 2 years and what we have is so much more than I could have dreamed of 🥹
we have the most incredible team who share the same passion to deliver the best of everything, we research hard before launching anything to make it the best, try and source everything locally where possible and our menu has grown so much to include matcha, toasties, loaded croissants and now our granola bowls and hopefully lots more to come as we’re still learning and growing, listening to feedback and adapting
the last 2 weeks have been some of the toughest with being unexpectedly busier than usual, staff holidays and sickness, but everyone has pulled together to do our best and what a team we have 🥰
I’m also so thankful to all our amazing customers who have been with us on this journey, from collecting bakes at my home to continuing to support the shop in any little way, it still blows my mind 💖💖
