Like many of you, I’ve faced health challenges – including coeliac disease – which inspired me to create something that’s truly gluten-free, handmade, and full of flavour. Gluten Free Factory is my way of giving back: tasty, honest food made with care, for everyone who needs it.

A little hidden gem in Nottinghamshire!

Today I had the pleasure of visiting Goldendrops Bee Farm and meeting the wonderful Mariusz, a beekeeper with incredible knowledge and a genuine passion for what he does.

He showed me his fantastic range of local honey and bee products, and I certainly didn’t leave empty-handed! I came home with honey, honeycomb, bee pollen, propolis and some beautiful beeswax candles.

And I have some lovely news to share!

I’m delighted that we’re starting a collaboration, and Goldendrops local honey will soon be available at Kate’s Gluten Free Factory!

I’m a big believer in supporting small, independent businesses, especially people who put their heart and soul into what they do. It’s something Mariusz and I have in common.

If you love discovering special local places, I really recommend visiting Goldendrops and exploring their wonderful products.

A little look at the first Farmers’ Market at Berry Hill Park, Mansfield!

Today was the first Farmers’ Market at Berry Hill Park, and I’ve also been invited to have a stall there on the 22nd!

Unfortunately, I couldn’t be there myself today because Kate’s Gluten Free Factory was open, but I sent my representative — my husband. He was already out delivering some of your orders, so he stopped by to have a look and film a little bit for me.

His very detailed report was basically: “It looks really good!” And that was about it. At least he brought me a video!

From what I can see, it looks really interesting, and I’m seriously thinking about joining the next Farmers’ Market. I don’t have all the lovely market equipment and setup that some of today’s stallholders had, so I’ll have to get creative, but I think it could be a great opportunity to meet new people and introduce Kate’s Gluten Free Factory to more local customers.

Hello, my lovely followers! My bakery will be open tomorrow (Saturday) from 10am–4pm, or until sold out! 🍞🥐

I’ll be baking fresh gluten-free bread, rolls and other homemade goodies first thing in the morning, but I have room in my oven for a few extra batches. Message me today to pre-order your favourites and make sure you don’t miss out! ❤️

Everything currently available in the bakery can also be ordered in advance. I’ll have your order ready for collection, so you can simply pop in and pick it up.

Wow! So many new faces here recently!

First of all, a huge thank you to everyone who has recently joined my page, and of course to all my lovely customers and followers who have been supporting me along the way!

For those who are new here, I’m Kate, and I run a small, independent, 100% gluten-free, coeliac-safe bakery in Mansfield Woodhouse.

Everything is freshly handmade with love, from bread and savoury treats to delicious cakes and desserts. I also offer dairy-free, low-carb and vegan options!

As always, my little bakery is filling up with more and more freshly baked goodies! The ovens are busy, and everything smells delicious!

Hello Wednesday!

Good morning, everyone!

The ovens are already on, the baking has started, and my little bakery is beginning to smell absolutely delicious! Freshly baked goodies are on their way, and I can’t wait to welcome you all!

We’re open as usual this week:
Wednesday to Saturday, 10am–4pm.

What’s coming to the bakery this week?

Alongside all my usual sweet and savoury treats, I’ll also be preparing:

* Freshly baked gluten-free bread and sourdough
* Homemade lasagne
* Cottage pie
* Steak & beef pie
* Sausage rolls and Scotch eggs
* Cornish-style beef pasties
* Delicious cakes, cookies and desserts

And plenty of other freshly made goodies!

There’s still time to place your bread orders for this week, and if there’s something special you’d like me to prepare, please get in touch.

Don’t forget about home delivery! If you fancy something delicious but can’t make it to the bakery, just send me a message. I’ll happily prepare and pack your order from what’s available, and we can arrange delivery.

A little reminder: This is my last week before a short holiday! The bakery will be closed from 18th October and I’ll be back on 29th October, so make sure you pop in and stock up on your favourites!

A little cake, a lot of love!

Over the past few months, hardly a week has gone by without me making at least one celebration cake. And I just want to say a huge THANK YOU!

Thank you for choosing Kate’s Gluten Free Factory to be part of your birthdays, anniversaries and special family celebrations. It really means a lot to me!

Strawberry cakes are definitely the favourites at the moment, although lemon cakes have been getting some love too!

I’ve always believed that sometimes simple is best. Freshly baked sponge, delicious cream, fruity fillings and delicate decorations. Nothing too complicated, just lovely flavours and a cake made with care.

From children’s birthdays to anniversaries and family celebrations, every cake is made individually, with attention to the little details.

And remember, my cakes aren’t just gluten-free! I can also make dairy-free versions, so more people can enjoy a slice of something special.

Every cake is freshly made to order, so please remember to book in advance to give me enough time to prepare everything.
