Bread rolls, sausage rolls, Scotch eggs, desserts and more. I’m Kate, the founder of Gluten Free Factory. I’ve been living in Mansfield for 11 years and I know the local community well. Like many of you, I’ve faced health challenges – including coeliac disease – which inspired me to create something that’s truly gluten-free, handmade, and full of flavour. Gluten Free Factory is my way of giving back: tasty, honest food made with care, for everyone who needs it.

Hello Thursday! 🤍

Lots of fresh gluten-free goodies are waiting for you in the bakery today — and sometimes they disappear before I even manage to put them properly on display! My carrot cake was definitely one of those today. 😄

Today you’ll find fresh rolls, sausage rolls, warm bread pudding, Scotch eggs, lasagne and Cornish-style pasties with either mushroom or beef filling.

Dairy-free treats include my carrot cake and spiced gingerbread cake.

Vegan options include vegan desserts, vegan ratatouille and vegan baked beans in a rich tomato sauce. The beans are delicious and filling on their own, but if you’re not vegan, you can simply add your favourite sausage and serve them with one of my fresh gluten-free rolls or some bread for an easy family meal.

You’ll also find cake pops and my homemade jars, plus plenty of other sweet and savoury goodies in the bakery.

I’m open today until 4 pm, and again Friday & Saturday, 10 am–4 pm.

And remember, if you can’t make it to the bakery, FREE local delivery is available on orders over £20 within 5 miles. Just send me a message and I’ll see what I can arrange.

A new month is here, so here’s a little update with my September opening hours and some good news!

🍂 BAKERY OPENING HOURS
Wednesday–Saturday | 10 am–4 pm

🚗 LOCAL DELIVERY
Local delivery is still available with a minimum order of £20 and FREE delivery within 5 miles of the bakery. Just send me a message to arrange your delivery.

📦 UK DELIVERY IS BACK!

Now that the hottest summer days are behind us, I’m bringing back UK delivery for many of my fresh gluten-free products.

That means you’ll once again be able to order favourites such as sausage rolls, Cornish-style pasties, quiches and other suitable fresh bakes through my website and have them delivered to your door anywhere in the UK.

Orders are prepared fresh within 5–7 days and dispatched on Wednesdays or Thursdays via Royal Mail Tracked 24.

And of course, my granola, mixes, cookies and other cupboard products are still available to order too.

Back to School Lunchboxes are now available to order.

Many of you have been asking for gluten-free products that are easy to take to school, work, or simply keep ready for a busy week, so I have put together two new Back to School Lunchboxes.

These are not just for children. They are also a great option for teachers, school staff, parents, and anyone going back to a busier routine in September.

Lunchbox 1 — £20
2 mini Cornish beef pastries
2 sausage rolls
2 Scotch eggs
2 lemon muffins

Lunchbox 2 — £20
2 spinach & cheese breakfast bakes
2 vegetarian sausage rolls with mushroom & chickpea
2 quiche with feta & olives
2 brownie & raspberry muffins

Each box includes 8 gluten-free treats.

You will also be able to add Breakfast & Treat Pots to your order:

* chia yoghurt with blueberries and my homemade granola
* chocolate overnight oats with cocoa, dark chocolate and blueberries
* chocolate mousse with fruit or homemade granola

I will be changing the lunchbox options regularly to keep them varied, and I will also be listening to your ideas.

Dairy-free options are available by pre-order only.

My lovelies, I know it’s Bank Holiday weekend and you might all be busy, but I still have a few delicious goodies left in the bakery!

If you fancy something, just send me a message. I can pack everything up for you and local delivery can be arranged today or tomorrow morning.

There’s still plenty to choose from, including blueberry kefir cake, fresh rolls, cheese scones, bread, dairy-free lemon muffins and scones, vegan chocolate muffins, cookies, granola and my gluten-free mixes for pancakes, crêpes and bread.

In the fridge you’ll also find Strawberry Dessert, jelly, Lemon Meringue Tarts, Lemon Tarts with jelly, plus plenty of savoury options: vegan mushroom & chickpea sausage rolls, feta & olive quiche, hot dogs, cottage pie, lasagne, steak & beef pie, vegan ratatouille, Cornish-style mushroom pasties and spinach & cheese breakfast bake.

Sunday breakfast idea 🍅🍳🍞

When I have a little more time on a Sunday morning, I love making something a bit more special for breakfast.

I started with one slice of my sourdough bread – I always keep some in the freezer at home, ready for moments like this – one egg and a few little tomatoes straight from the garden.

One egg? Who was I kidding? 😂
Definitely not enough for me. Three eggs it is!

Toast the sourdough, add some avocado, scrambled eggs and those lovely little tomatoes with fresh basil and a drizzle of olive oil.

And apparently one slice of toast wasn’t enough either… so let’s make it one and a half. 😄

Simple, fresh, filling and absolutely delicious.

And if you fancy making something like this yourself, you can pop into the bakery for the gluten-free sourdough – I’m afraid you’ll have to sort out the eggs, avocado and tomatoes yourselves! 😂

What an amazing Saturday!

Thank you so much for coming in, for enjoying what I make and, most of all, for coming back again and again. It really means a lot to my little bakery.

It’s Bank Holiday weekend, and as I’m open tomorrow too, I’ve been busy preparing more fresh goodies for you!

Saturday – open until 4 pm
Sunday – 11 am–2 pm

Remember, many of the products available in the bakery can also be frozen, so it’s a perfect opportunity to stock up for the week ahead.

You’ll also find plenty of no added sugar treats, as well as some low-carb options – from strawberry desserts and cheesecakes to fresh savoury rolls and plenty more.

There’s something sweet, something savoury and lots of freshly prepared gluten-free goodies waiting for you.
