🎀 Happy 12th Birthday to my beautiful Bella! 🎀

When Bella told me she wanted a Mitsuri themed birthday cake, I couldn’t resist giving it a go. 💖🌸

I decided to use it as a chance to practise my piping skills too. I’m definitely not where I want to be yet, and I know there’s still a long way to go, but every cake teaches me something new. After all, practice really does make perfect! 🎂✨

The most important thing is that Bella absolutely loves her cake, and seeing that huge smile on her face made every minute worth it. Happy birthday, my gorgeous girl – I hope your day is as sweet and special as you are. 💕🎉

A rich Coffee & Walnut cake, adorned with edible gold glitter, soft blush roses and luxurious golden touches.

Behind every cake, brownie, tart and tray bake is a commitment to the very highest standards of cleanliness, food safety and quality. Every order is prepared with the same care, attention and love that I would give to my own family.

A Little Update from Wisteria & Whisk 🌿

It has recently come to my attention that someone has reported Wisteria & Whisk to the local council, believing I was operating as an unregistered food business.

Whilst it’s a little disappointing that someone felt the need to do this, I can reassure everyone that Wisteria & Whisk is fully registered with the local council and I am simply awaiting my routine food hygiene inspection, which is completely normal for new food businesses.

Food safety, cleanliness, and following the correct legal requirements have always been incredibly important to me. I have worked hard to ensure everything is done properly, from registering the business and obtaining the appropriate insurance to completing food hygiene training and maintaining high standards in my kitchen.

To the person who made the report—thank you for your concern. Fortunately, the council already has my registration on record.

I’d like to thank everyone who has supported Wisteria & Whisk since the very beginning. Your orders, kind words, and encouragement mean more than you know, and I can’t wait to continue sharing beautiful bakes with you while I look forward to receiving my food hygiene inspection.

💜 A Little Quieter Than Usual This Week… 💜

If you’ve noticed things have been a little quieter on my social media this week, I promise it’s for a very exciting reason!

Behind the scenes, the kitchen has been busier than ever as I’m working my way through customer orders while also baking 510 bakes ready for my very first festival this Saturday. It’s a huge milestone for Wisteria & Whisk, and one I’ve been dreaming about for a long time.

With the current heatwave, every bake is taking that little bit more care and attention to ensure everything leaves the kitchen looking and tasting exactly as it should. It’s certainly keeping me on my toes, but I wouldn’t have it any other way!

Here are just a couple of my Birthday Garden Cookie Pies in the making, patiently waiting for their delicious centres before heading into the oven. Seeing them come together is one of my favourite parts of the process, and I can’t wait for them to be part of this weekend’s display.

So, if you’ve sent me a message and I’m taking a little longer than usual to reply, thank you so much for bearing with me. I promise I’ll catch up with everyone as soon as I can and hope to be back to my usual social media presence next week.

🍐✨ The Orchard Conservatory has been in full bloom today… ✨🍐

Today’s orders are finally wrapped and boxed, and a few of them have been our much-loved Orchard Conservatory Tart.

The kitchen has smelt absolutely incredible all day — delicate notes of poached pears, fragrant elderflower and warm golden honey drifting through the air with every tart that left the oven. It truly feels like bringing a little English orchard indoors.

With its buttery pastry, silky filling and softly spiced orchard pears, finished with edible blooms and a dusting of elegance, it’s quickly becoming one of my favourite creations to make.

There is something rather magical about a bake that fills the kitchen with the scent of summer gardens and sunlit conservatories. 🌿✨
