Long post alert 😢💔

As many of you have noticed me and the page have been very quiet. I started Bake My Day 8 years ago now and how It started was I became very poorly with cancer in my 20,s 3 years on treatment , surgeries etc etc and in that time I started baking with my girls I found my thing my passion something I could zone into I decided to turn it into a lil business I was so scared 🙈😂

I couldn’t believe how my friends family and community where I live supported me it has kept me going these 8 years but sadly my health has recently declined again with 3 different auto immune conditions, I kept going but was struggling I have no choice but to take time out.

I’m absolutely devastated as this was my life but I need to think about my health and get on the right medication then hopefully one day soon I can get back to making you all your amazing cakes and get back to what I love, I haven’t made this decision lightly i have kind of been putting it off 😭 and I hope u all support me if I’m healthy enough to come back in the future thank you to my loyal customers who have all become friends over the years 😭😭😭💔💔💔💔

Hi everyone sorry for the lack of posts, engagement & being really quiet. I know alot of my customers have noticed recently and I can only apologise. I get asked alot if I am still making cakes?

So what has happened is January last year I was diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis and it's floored me, totally out of the blue


It would be a shame to let the arthritis beat me and i miss making all you're wonderful cakes so I am taking bookings again from next Monday 26th January.

I've had alot of enquiries lately and I said I'm not taking bookings atm but as of next week I am! I'm now on new medication that is making life a little easier ❤️

I won't be taking too many in I will be doing what's manageable for now. Thank you all for you're understanding 🙏
