Really sorry everyone but no cake counter today, Ive got a really big order that we have been working on this week and it needs to be delivered and set up at the venue. Cake counter will be back next Saturday as normal.

The shop will be open for collections today as we have a few orders due to go out. Sorry for any inconvenience- Mel xx

Look What’s On At Wicked Pops in August

Now the weather has cooled down a little bit, we are able to get back to what we love most…..teaching you amazing baking and cake decorating skills.

Whether you just want to do a fun workshop with friends and family, wish to improve your baking or decorating skills, or even start a new career, we have something for everyone and suitable for all skill levels. In the last 12 months, Ive helped loads of students to learn new skills and improve existing ones. Ive also supported 4 local bakers to set up their own cake businesses and they are all thriving!!

Congratulations to our lovely daughter Amy on achieving your First Class Honours (BSc Hons) in Forensics, Policing & Investigations we had a lovely day celebrating yesterday. Super proud mum and dad xx

Our lovely daughter Amy is graduating today with a first class honours degree and we are super proud.

The shop will be closed today whilst we celebrate with her and will reopen tomorrow from 12noon 😊

This was such a beautiful baby shower……

Set in in their lovely event tepee. Beautiful mummy to be Babs and her husband Andy planned the perfect baby shower. Soft blue and white colour palette with a little n**e and gold, it was a pleasure making their dessert table and celebration cakes.
Gorgeous balloons, pampas grasses and backdrop by just finished the space beautifully. It was extra special for me to visit this venue as I was married here and its my wedding anniversary month too 😊.

Guests enjoyed cakesicles, chocolate covered strawberries, donuts, vanilla biscuits, cupcakes and cake pops along with three beautiful celebration cakes. I hope everyone enjoyed the cakes and treats

Happy 60th Birthday to Angela who received one of my beautiful Bouquet cakes for her special day. It was over 30 degrees in my shop at the weekend, definitely tested my skills trying to keep everything set and smooth but I still managed to complete a bouquet cake, cupcake bouquet, 2 tier Harry Potter cake, 2tier and single tier baby shower cake with a full dessert table.

Sometimes early starts and late finishes to reduce the heat whilst working has to be done. I hope everyone enjoyed their cakes. This weekend is just as hot, and Ive got birthday cakes and a wedding cake to complete 🥵🥵 wish me luck x

Hey there 😊

Just letting you know, the shop will be closed today and next week whilst we take a much needed family holiday. We will be back on Sat 20th with all of your favourite treats and will have lots of Fathers Day goodies on the counter too.

Bubbles and Truffles class was a blast. These lovely ladies asked for a private class, I showed them three different ways of making chocolate truffles and they each took home a big box full of treats. Everyone enjoyed it, with lots of nibbles and complimentary Prosecco.
