Vanilla buttercream
🤍 I use 2 parts icing sugar to 1 part unsalted butter
🤍 The butter needs to be soft & squashy
🤍 I whip the butter first on a high speed for 15 minutes (stopping halfway through to scrape down the sides)
🤍 I then add the icing sugar, vanilla & a drizzle of cooled boiled water (unless it’s a very hot day)
🤍 Store covered in the fridge until the date on the butter
🤍 If you don’t like it too sweet you can use the 1:1 ratio or salted butter
