The Yummy Mummy Cake Company Hello to all you lovely Yummy Mummy Cake Company Customers. Take a look through my page, have a mooch, and see what catches your eye. Have fun! E x

Borne from a lifelong love of baking, The Yummy Mummy Cake Company offers scrummy cakes and homebakes for all occasions......or just simply because. A little about me, as i always think it is nice to know a bit about who you are talking to and their story.....

The Yummy Mummy Cake Company came about by chance really. I have baked for as long as i can remember, the main recipients being my family and work colleagues. I went on a basic cupcake decorating course last November (2011) and a chance sighting of a photo of one of my cupcakes by my hairdresser set me off on this journey. I iced my first cake in March this year (2012) and got bitten by the cake decorating bug. Now every spare minute is spent researching, practicing or baking cake (not that there are many spare minutes!!)

I work as a radiographer in the NHS, but would love to fulfil my dream of owning my own cakery, where people come for a delicious slice of cake, a coffee, a natter or just to watch the world go by. I live in Manchester with my two children, so as you can imagine a lot of my cake baking and decorating takes place in the early hours. Many thanks for reading, happy baking, Emma

The cookies in the last treat box went down a storm, and it's got me thinking. Would there be any interest if i put a cookie box together in the new year?

Any thoughts? x

So my work colleagues were guinea pigs today for these little beauties - custard cream NYC cookies, jam packed with white chocolate chunks, custard cream pieces and a dollop of custard cream spread. “Divine” was one of the words used - couldn’t have been too bad, they’d all gone by the time I left!

Will definitely be featuring in a future treat box x

All deliveries and collections now done, hope everyone is enjoying their goodies. Any feedback on these two would be much appreciated. I’m going to have to freeze what’s left of the sticky toffee flapjacks as I can’t stop eating them - they make me think of bonfire night! X
