Another wonderful Repair Café session on Saturday at Levenshulme Old Library. My favourite repair was helping to fix this lovely little hedgehog house. The hedgehogs of Levenshulme should be feeling much safer and snugger now! 🦔🦔🦔🥰🥰🥰

Thank you to all of our repair volunteers, including a couple of new recruits.

If you have repair skills and would like to get involved, we'd love to hear from you. Please contact Maria at [email protected] for more information.

This Saturday’s Repair Cafe is a sewing special! Bring us your clothing, cushion covers, jewellery, teddy bears or anything else with a rip, tear or missing button.

We can take a few electricals and other items, but not many due to volunteer holidays. But we do have a fully staffed sewing corner! So, now’s the time to bring your favourite jeans, bags, tops and necklaces back to life. You can also get some tips to do your own repairs – you’ll be on the next series of Sewing Bee before you know it!

In a time of planet and people-harming fast fashion, let’s take care of the things we have rather than throwing them away and buying new.

See you this Saturday 15th August at Levenshulme Old Library, 10am to 12pm.

We’re back TOMORROW at Levenshulme Old Library, fixing up your stuff for free from 10am to 12pm - but we're also back every month if you miss this one.

Special shoutout for clothing and sewing repairs - we usually have capacity for these, while we're snowed under with electronics. No alterations though please, only repairs.

See you tomorrow!
