As some of you may know, I moved to Denver, Colorado last year.
I brought some heritage with me and started a micro bakery out here.

This week’s special sourdough is Honey & Fennel Seed!
Back in the UK, our bakery Robinsons Artisan Family Bakery was never really bothered by competitions and earning awards. We focused on keeping our customers happy and coming back for more.
Each week we created a special sourdough and this is one of the ones we got the most feedback for. So one autumn, my dad and I were going to a bakery show, we decided to enter this loaf for fun. We got second place!
Now, at the bakery we baked free form sourdough loaves, and here I bake in tins. But that’s the only difference! And when our bakery closed in 2023, I kept our sourdough starter (Ethel) and she’s the starter I still use today!
