This could be my last birthday cake before I retire 🥲 and jet off to Spain! 🇪🇸 (apart from family and friends, obvs! )Last date for deliveries is August 26th. This is a plain sponge, sandwiched with vanilla buttacream and strawberry jam and covered with fondant icing, surrounded by carrot cakes with creamcheez frosting and chocolate cupcakes with chocolate frosting. A bit of everything for a special day! Hope he enjoys them ❤️

I announced today that I’m hanging up my apron at the end of August; however, there will be one special lady who will be expecting a cake from me for September- my eldest granddaughter, Lois! Every year, she has come up with an idea for her own birthday cake which she has passed on to me, confident in the knowledge that I’d be able to produce the goods! 😆 Thanks Lois, for always having faith in me! These are the ones I’ve produced so far - which she seems to have liked….. and I have stressed over for a couple of weeks beforehand 🤣. I think they turn out ok because they have that special ingredient- ♥️. So…. I’m holding my breath and waiting to see what she comes up with for September, when my stock is depleted and I’m packing my whole house, while trying to learn Spanish!! 🤪 love that kid 👧🏻💕

Just delivered these for the summer fair tomorrow that are holding at in Radcliffe. If you want to try the English Madeleines or chocolate cupcakes with mint chocolate buttacream you can go along and buy one and support a really good animal rescue charity at the same time! There will be live music as well as lots of stalls and a tombola, so lots of fun to be had while saving kitties 🐈‍⬛ 🐱 have a look at their feed for more details of their good work, then turn up tomorrow between 12-4pm ❤️ 💜 ♥️

Don’t you just love it when your chocolate cake smiles at you when it comes out of the oven? 😆maybe not the nicest looking cake I’ve ever baked ( it’s not supposed to crack!) but it’s certainly the happiest!!

Nothing says autumn like parkin! There’s something comforting and warming about it when the weather changes and there’s suddenly a nip in the air! Why not order a batch for the family? Or else have a piece with a hot coffee ☕️ at ? They have it in now, alongside my chocolate and peanut butter cake (another’winter warmer’ !
