Proud to see our bakes on the counter at Tong Garden Centre

We love it when our bakes find a home in the local community, and Tong Garden Centre is exactly that. Set between Leeds and Bradford, and part of Yorkshire Garden Centres, Tong has given The Original Baker pride of place on the counter in Hearty's Food Hall, alongside their in-house butchery and deli.

It's a brilliant example of the kind of partnership we value most. Independent, community-rooted businesses backing quality, locally-made products and putting them in front of customers who care about where their food comes from.

Garden centres have become such a special part of the food shopping experience. A slower morning out, a coffee, a browse, and now a proper bake to take home too. We're delighted to be part of that at Tong.

Great Friday news! We've won a Great Taste Award.

Our Smoked Salmon & Crème Fraîche Quiche has picked up a 1-star at the Great Taste Awards. Judged blind by food and drink experts, it's one of the toughest accreditations in the industry, so this one means a lot to us.

The judges called out the generous filling, rich texture and flavour of our all-butter pastry. The salmon itself came in for special praise too, described as delicious and delicate.

For the team behind this quiche, that's not just nice to hear, it's proof the work going into it is landing exactly where it should.

It arrives frozen raw, ready to bake in-store, restaurant or café so you get an oven-fresh product with none of the prep.
