So thats me!
Our last treat club is done, Our last surprise boxes are ready!
My poor heart is shattered, It really feels like ending a toxic relationship, I know I have to leave... But when its good its SO good! I know deep down this is the right move for my little family though and I am so proud of what I achieved considering I started out with 1 brownie recipe and no money to back me.
It goes without saying that I am grateful for every single one of you, However there are some people who have really gone out of their way to be amazing to me -
Laura Thomas - Remember when I nearly fu**ed your wedding? I can laugh about it now but sweet lord I have never felt fear like it! So back story, Lauras was the first wedding I had ever done, I didn't have a very good order system and stupidly didn't confirm the date... Guess who wrote the wrong date on the calendar? My heart was in my arse when I got a text asking what time I would be dropping the treats off. Laura was much nicer than I would have been and I have never baked treats as quickly as I did that day! All dropped off before the Bride arrived. Again, I cannot thank you enough for your kindness that day and even more so that you continued to return for many years after that!
Tracy Purssord - The OG of our treat club, Hasn't missed a month in the years its been running, I dread to think how much you have spent haha Thank you for always supporting us, How on earth am I going to pay for Emilys clubs now? haha
Amy Holland - Thank you for always pushing me, You have much more belief in me than I ever have in myself and it means so much.
Suzi Swift - I will miss our convos " I def cant make that" " Yes you can I trust you" You have far to much faith in me but it has been an honor to make your babies cakes plus of course your wedding cake! My first! I swear at you so much as I am re-icing your cakes one more time as I just cant get it right... But it always works out in the end and I am so grateful of you.
Tracey Leverett - You have been like an extra Mama over the years and I can honestly not thank you enough.
Della Hickey & Gina Mountney - I am sorry for all the unhinged voice notes you have received at midnight when I felt completely broken, Thank you for always picking me back up and giving me the pep talk I needed ( Ginas was always way nicer than Della though!) I don't say it because ewww feelings but I love you both so very much x
My wonderful family who it wont let me tag!
Over the past 9 years you have supported me so much, be it taking the kids on adventures so they don't miss out while I am working, Having sleepovers so I can bake or getting me out the s**t when I fu**ed up. I love you all so very much and I couldn't have got this far without you so thank you.
And lastly, Mr Peanuts himself, He won't see this as he is to cool for Facebook but if I don't say something then one of his fan club will tell me I am mean haha Thank you for supporting me in the journey and allowing me to follow my dreams after having our babies. Thank you for being my unpaid delivery driver, The best Grinch around ( Just comes naturally ) and cleaner.
I will be leaving this page up for a bit whilst I decide what I am going to do with regards to recipes, Once they are out there I can't really come back if I need to as everyone will be able to bake haha But maybe thats what I need! End it and move on. I will update soon!
Thank you once again for each and every one of you that have been with me, You made it possible for me to be at home when my babies needed me the most and honestly I could never thank you enough for that.
