Also, it’s only when I step back and take photos that I can check everything’s right. You’ll notice I had to add an extra 16 on top. Much better, and my friend was over the moon with it.

A small cake for my best friends 25th Wedding Anniversary. One of the most difficult cakes I’ve made recently, due to the heat wave. The fondant was just so soft and tacky, it just wouldn’t firm up, which made it very difficult to decorate.
Not perfect, but pleased with the final result.
