It’s been a while but when my 5 year old wanted a Greatest Showman cake how could I refuse! I was really nervous about making this one but I surprised myself by really enjoying the whole process, the break has done me good 🙂. I’m not looking to take orders yet but it cemented the fact that I will be back to it when I can free up more time! 🎪🎩🍰

It's with a heavy heart that I need to let you know CupcakeMegs is closing for the foreseeable future. I need to take time out for my health and family, working late nights and weekends has taken it's toll. I am so fortunate to be a stay-at-home Mum and I really want to dedicate my time to my kids during these precious early years. I love to bake and decorate but the profit in no way outweighs the effort (often stress) and I don't have it in me to charge extortionately. All existing orders will be honoured and outstanding quotations are valid until the end of this month. Thank you for your orders, likes and follows, I have really appreciated your support over the last 5 years, you're all lovely. Goodbye for now, Megs x 👋

Our Story

I started CupcakeMegs after my daughter was born in 2014 as a way of combining my enthusiasm for baking and being able to remain at home. Previously a graphic designer I have an eye for detail and like to ensure all of my bakes are given the time and passion they deserve. I lovingly bake & hand decorate all cupcakes and celebration cakes to order in my 5* Maidstone Council approved kitchen and hold up to date food hygiene certification and insurance. I offer a fully bespoke design service and have an extensive portfolio for inspiration which you can find on my website - www.cupcakemegs.com.
