💔 We need your help — and we want to be honest with you

Yesterday, our family business was the victim of a serious cyberattack.
Alice, who many of you know, had her email hacked overnight by criminals based in Vietnam. Within minutes, her personal Facebook, her personal Instagram, her home baking business Willaston Whisk Facebook and Instagram pages, and our very own Karen Davies Sugarcraft Instagram were all taken down.
Years of memories. Years of work. Gone in three minutes.
Alice has spent years building our Instagram page. And on Saturday she was literally at her local village market selling cakes, talking to new customers, full of excitement about what’s coming next — new moulds, new classes, new things for all of you. And then Sunday morning she woke up to this.

We are fighting hard to get everything back, and we will not give up. But in the meantime, if you have ever loved our moulds, bought from us, taken a class, or simply followed along and enjoyed what we do — now is the time we really need you.

We made such a variety of hat cakes at our meeting today, some dummy cakes, some real. Sandra also demonstrated how to make crinkle ribbon for bows using wafer paper. We were all surprised at how flexible it was once dry! Thank tou Sandra and to everyone who came along.
No meeting next month, but we're back in December for our Christmas meeting, decorating gingerbread houses!

Another fantastic meeting yesterday, all trying our hands at a Lambeth decorated cake (or dummy cake) using Royal Icing, thanks to Sharon Kelly. Take a look at what we accomplished, they all look great, especially considering not everyone had done any pipework before!

Yay! We've made it to 40 fabulous years!🎉 🥂🥳🎂

We celebrated in style at our afternoon tea AGM on Saturday, and even surprised Carol Bunch with a cake, gifts & balloons for 25 years as our amazing branch Chairperson.

It was a fantastic afternoon, busy with chatter, good food and bubbles, and an Orchid workshop for good measure.
We're so proud to have a thriving branch with so many wonderful members and look forward to many more years to come.
