I can’t believe our Liam is 11! For the first time no big, themed cake but his usual one half coffee cake and one half chocolate cake was finished with buttercream, a thick chocolate drip (a bit too thick but I do t think he’ll complain!) topped with mini Oreo’s, mini choc chip cookies, maltesers and Lindt chocolate balls. 🥳🥳

This cake was a new challenge for me as it needed to be fat free. Three layers of fat free sponge cake filled with raspberry jam and crumb coated in white chocolate water ganache to keep any fat to the minimum. A lot of planning went into this unique set up for a lovely couple yesterday using a vintage record player and a 12” LP for the cake stand. Tiers of lemon drizzle, cherry bakewell and salted caramel, vegan lemon cupcakes with edible record toppers and a mini version of the main cake for an uncle’s birthday. Fabric flowers supplied by the bride. 💖💘💖
