We’ve just come back from being part of something big — and honestly, it pushed us in the best way.
At Living Land, N2 Sweet Lab stepped out of the kitchen and into education. We spent the day with over 2,500 kids, breaking down what cacao really is and how chocolate is actually made — from fermentation, roasting, and conching, all the way to tempering.
We didn’t just talk. We explored.
We smelled fermented vs roasted beans.
We showed how roasting transforms aroma and flavour.
We challenged what people think chocolate tastes like.
And here’s what stood out — a lot of the kids were genuinely curious. Not just polite, but properly engaged. Some were surprised by real cacao. Some loved it. Some didn’t. And that’s exactly the point.
It was intense, loud, a bit chaotic — but worth it.
