This beautiful three-tier buttercream wedding cake is all set for its big day.
One of the most important things to remember for a summer wedding is to plan for refrigeration if the weather is hot. Buttercream cakes are happiest when kept cool until it’s time to be displayed.
Marquees and gazebos can become extremely warm, while some venues are fortunate to have air conditioning or good ventilation. It’s always worth considering where your cake will be kept before the celebration begins.
My lovely bride and groom were fully aware of this and ensured refrigeration was available, giving their cake the best possible conditions before the reception.
A little preparation goes a long way in keeping your cake looking perfect for those special photographs and, of course, the all-important cake cutting! 💕🎂
