My client took inspo from my son’s first birthday cake for this one, so I loved recreating a new version of it.

Loved being able to do whatever I wanted as long as it fit the “Dino” brief!!

This was a 6in chocolate cake with vanilla buttercream for little Kairon’s 3rd birthday and I think the end result is super cute along with matching Kinder Bueno cupcakes!!

Florals 🌷

I was given free rein for this birthday cake, the only stipulation being that it was lemon and raspberry flavour! 🍋

As the birthday girl loves flowers this was where my mind went to immediately, and once I’d chosen the fresh florals I was going to use, I matched the lavender coloured buttercream to them.

The result was a pretty fault-line cake with lavender and white flowers, edible gold paint and a simple gold topper!

I love being sent inspo pics when you order your cakes, but I equally love being given a flavour (and a colour scheme if needed) and being allowed to be creative!

Sometimes you want a cocktail AND a cupcake! And that’s ok! 😍

Pineapple & coconut sponge drizzled with pineapple sugar syrup, decorated with coconut buttercream, dedicated coconut, a glacé cherry and a piece of pineapple.

Not forgetting the cute little cocktail umbrella 🍹

Pisces Baby ♓️

Made my own birthday cake a couple weeks ago!

This was my first time trying the vintage style piping so yes there are a few flaws and it’s definitely NOT perfect, but for a first attempt it’s not half bad!

And it tasted delicious so that’s the main thing 😉

Coffee sponge filled with a dark chocolate ganache decorated with coffee buttercream and sprinkles, white chocolate lettering painted with edible gold! ✨

Practice makes perfect so I’ll definitely be working on this style; however will not currently be offering them made to order as I need to perfect this technique!!!
