DISPLAY CAR OWNERS- IMPORTANT INFORMATION REGARDING YOUR LVC ENTRY PACKS

Firstly, thank you for entering your cherished pride and joy into this year’s Lyn Valley Classic. We are looking forward to welcoming you to Lynton & Lynmouth for what promises to be another fantastic event.

This year we are doing things a little differently and moving away from posting exhibitor packs through the mail. In previous years we have sent programme brochures, wristbands and entry passes by post, however due to rising postage costs, delivery issues last year and to help simplify the process, we are sending ‘entry packs’ out by email and asking all exhibitors to print their own vehicle entry pass in advance.
Individual entries - You should all have received you entry pack email by Sunday 31st May 2026 so please keep an eye on your inboxes (and check spam/junk folders)
Club entries may take a little longer - please check with your club coordinator

Attached to the email you will find:

• Your exhibitor welcome letter, including important exhibitor information and declaration�• Your vehicle entry pass – this MUST be printed and clearly displayed in your windscreen at the point of entry into Lynton & Lynmouth. A colour print is preferred where possible as this will help our marshals guide you quickly to the correct display area�• A space on the entry pass to write four interesting facts about your vehicle. Visitors absolutely love learning more about the cars and bikes on display, so we hope you will take a few moments to complete this section�• A link to our digital programme, which contains more information about the show, attractions and event details

Lynton exhibitors, please pay particular attention to the What3Words reference provided when planning your journey, as the entrance to the Lynton show area has changed from previous years. The route and entrance will be clearly signposted.

On arrival at exhibitor check-in you will receive:
A printed event programme brochure
Your exhibitor wristbands
Commemorative Lyn Valley Classic 2026 Car Sticker

Additional wristbands will also be available to purchase at check-in if required.

⚠️ COMMUNITY EVENT ROAD CLOSURE NOTICE – HELPING MAKE LYN VALLEY CLASSIC 2026 POSSIBLE ⚠️
Please take a moment to read this important information regarding the temporary road closure required for the Lyn Valley Classic event on Sunday 14th June 2026.

Signs have been placed on lampposts in the affected area to provide advance notice of the closure arrangements. While we understand closures can cause some inconvenience, it is important to remember that this fantastic community event raises vital funds which are reinvested back into local projects, facilities, services and events that benefit our whole community throughout the year.

📍 ROAD CLOSURE AREA�The closure affects Lynton only:�• Lee Road – from The Oak Room to the entrance to Castle Heights�• Access to Hollerday Drive�• Access to North Walk
⏰ Closure times: 6.30am until 6.30pm Sunday 24th June 2026

During these hours there will be absolutely NO access for non-show vehicles within the closure area. This will be strictly enforced for the safety of visitors, exhibitors, volunteers and emergency access requirements.

The only vehicular access permitted during the closure will be:�🚑 Emergency service vehicles�🚨 Residents requiring emergency access (subject to police authorisation)

We fully understand that road closures can be inconvenient and we genuinely appreciate the patience, understanding and support shown by so many people each year. Events of this scale simply cannot happen safely without temporary restrictions being put in place.
We kindly ask everyone to help us make the day run as smoothly as possible:

🏨 Hotels, guest houses and Airbnb hosts – please advise your guests in advance so they can make parking arrangements (particularly to facilitate arrival and departure) outside the closure area before Sunday.

🚚 Businesses and residents – please avoid arranging supermarket or commercial deliveries during the closure period, as delivery vehicles will unfortunately be refused access.

🚗 Please do not park overnight on Saturday evening within the closure zone, as the roads must be completely clear by 6.30am on Sunday morning to allow safe event setup.

The Lyn Valley Classic brings thousands of visitors into the area, provides a huge boost for many local businesses and creates a fantastic atmosphere for the whole community. We ask everyone to work together to help make the event another success.
