🌟 What a community. What a volunteer. What a result. 🌟

A huge thank you to Liz, one of our amazing Ark volunteers, who once again ran a brilliant pop-up café in Bishop’s Castle this weekend.

With her relentless baking, incredible energy and big heart, Liz brought people together and raised an astonishing £1,500 for the Ark. 💙

Yet again, the wonderful Bishop’s Castle community showed up in force, supporting Liz, supporting each other, and supporting people facing homelessness across Shropshire. Your generosity truly makes a difference.

Every pound raised helps us provide food, showers, warmth, practical support and one-to-one help for people who need it most.

Thank you, Liz. Thank you, Bishop’s Castle. You are amazing. 👏

Let’s Eat Cake Next Week!

You will probably know that Liz is a volunteer at The Shrewsbury Ark, Homeless Day Centre which provides vital support to some of our counties most vulnerable people.

From Monday 8th until Wednesday 10th December Liz will be at Stars in Bishops Castle with her Pop Up Cafe from 10am to 4pm, where you can enjoy delicious cake with a hot drink, relax and chat with each other.

Find out about the Shrewsbury Ark and you might consider becoming a Friend Of The Ark and give the gift of friendship this Christmas.
What’s more - due to the generosity of an anonymous donor who will match all fundraising for the rest of the year up to £50K - your donation will be doubled!

Heavenly Brides of Shrewsbury have generously donated some new wedding dresses and we also have a number of blue suits and other accessories. If you have a wedding coming up or know someone that does then spread the word.

EVERY PENNY TAKEN DURING THE 3 DAYS WILL GO DIRECTLY TO SUPPORT THE ARK.
