Most of my bits are packed away now as we are moving house next week (yippee!) but I didn't want to see my "Father-in-law-ish" for his 70th birthday today without giving him a cake to celebrate with. Some quick toppers by me and some shop bought cupcakes from Asda.

A great idea when you're short on time as they come with the cupcake box as well. It's a shame people can't buy edible decorations like this in supermarkets but maybe one day that'll change.

A perfect excuse to celebrate heroes of every kind. From the comic book legends we all love to the real-life superheroes who make a difference every single day.

Here’s a look at some of my superhero-themed cakes I’ve created over time. And right at the heart of it all, a very special set of cupcakes dedicated to the incredible everyday heroes who stood strong when the world needed them most.

Hakeem turned 5 this weekend and celebrated with a Super Mario cake. I really enjoyed making this one - getting Mario's face right seemed to take me forever though 🙈

This was my very last cake at Elmtree Avenue! I thought we'd have moved months ago (apologies to the cakes I've turned down recently) but hadn't quite realised how long the process would take - I believe we have a moving date of this Friday now!

Very exciting, but even my cake bits alone need a whole van to cart them off to the new house lol. I'm not moving too far - just to Putteridge, 5 mins away.
