Alongside all the baking for tomorrows craft fair, I have been busy with another couple of orders.
One is a lemon loaf cake and the other is a lemon sponge with lemon buttercream and a lemon curd filling. Decorated with some meringues and a bit of crushed meringue.

Just letting you all know I will be taking the next week off from baking. I am so grateful for everyone that’s been keeping me busy but my hands need a rest and I need to step away from the oven 😂 I am going to spend some quality time with my family 😊

The next event we will be at is just a couple of weeks away though and I’ll have plenty with me and hope to see lots of you there. Should be a great craft fair with lots of stalls.

I was very honoured to be asked last year to make a cake for a wedding that’s taken place today. It’s changed a bit from the original plans but I am so pleased with how everything turned out. It’s been a difficult one to do given the heat but I’m proud of myself for completing it and setting it all up at the venue earlier today.

I made 110 cupcakes, half Victoria sponge and half chocolate fudge. I also made a 3 layer cake for the bride and groom to cut and keep for themselves. That one consists of 2 vanilla sponges and chocolate fudge in the middle to match the flavours of their cupcakes.
The topper on the cake was supplied by the mother of the bride.

Thank you to everyone that came along to Raynham Way summer fete today.
We had a fantastic time as we always do and sold out completely.
You certainly kept us busy and I am forever grateful to everyone that buys from us.

Alongside all the fete baking for tomorrows event I’ve also had a few orders go out yesterday and today.

A lemon loaf was collected yesterday and a fresh cream Victoria sponge with strawberries and blueberries was collected earlier on.
Also made Biscoff loaf cake for LK, homemade Crafts session taking place this evening. Hope everyone enjoys their bakes 😊
