After creating hundreds of beautiful wedding cakes, countless celebration cakes, and thousands of delectable chocolate brownies, it is with a very heavy heart that I share some difficult news.

Due to significant health issues over the past several months (which I am slowly recovering from) I have concluded that I am no longer able to continue with my beloved cake business.

As a result, Tree House Cakes will be closing its doors on August 1st, 2024. I have managed to find an alternative provider for the majority of cakes booked with me in 2024. However there are a couple where I will still create your cakes . If you have not heard from me then I will be making your cake as agreed .

This decision has not been easy, but it is necessary for my well-being. I want to extend my deepest gratitude to everyone who has supported Tree House Cakes over the years. Your encouragement and trust have meant the world to me. I have been fortunate enough to work with some extremely talented professionals not all of whom I have space here to name . But it started with the support of my family , then the design of my amazing logo and business cards by Champions Uk, BNI Derbyshire , Love wedding Shows and many more.
A heartfelt thank you to my wonderful customers—working with you and being part of your special moments has been an absolute honour and a true passion.

✨ Throwback to one of my favourite wedding cake creations! 🍰🎨 This alternative wedding cake was a true labour of love. 💕💍 From its unique Colin the Caterpillar design it was a delightful departure from tradition. 💐🌿 . I made edible soil, edible moss , edible toadstools and mushrooms. All around a 2 tier tree trunk cake and flanked by a large Colin and Connie Caterpillars . Bonjour ,mes amis! Today, we're taking a little detour from the sweet world of cakes to indulge in something savoury and oh-so-French: French Onion Soup! 🇫🇷✨

While we're known for our delectable cakes and brownies we also have a passion for culinary delights beyond the realm of desserts. Picture this: a warm, comforting bowl of rich soup made with beef stock, white wine, sherry and brandy infused with lots of caramelised onions, topped with a crusty sourdough slice and lashings of melted Gruyère and Comte cheeses .
