It's always such an honour to be asked to create something unique and special. This lovely lady contacted me after seeing another hand painted smash cake I'd done and wanted to know if I could do a bespoke cake for her and her family. Tomorrow marks her Mum's first heavenly birthday where they are going to scatter her ashes, and sunflowers were her favourite flowers.
I'm truly humbled to have a small part in tomorrow, and I will be thinking of you.

Georgina and her family do a lot to raise money for the hospice where Mum was so have a look at their Just Giving page... There's a serious amount of walking going on this month to raise money 💛

Hey guys. I've been thinking about this for weeks now and it's not a decision I'm making lightly but I am going to stop taking on any more orders for a little while. I will keep making the cakes for the local photographer and obviously honour any orders I already have in, but I am struggling on a big scale. I am working a lot with my main job and then my girls are small and they need me, my housework is down to bare minimum which is causing me huge stress and affecting my mental health, and it leaves me working often past midnight to finish cake orders. Something's got to give and right now I need to be kind to myself and just take a small break to get back on top of life.
I really hope you all understand, the idea of letting anyone down is destroying me but I need to take a step back and regroup 🫂

This order was wonderful to make, Libby needed a big old half and half cake for her joint birthday with her Mummy... But also some secret mini cakes for her sister and best friend who missed out on their celebrations... What a wonderful thought! All in everyone's favourite flavours so a 4" lemon, and 4" biacoff and a huge 12" half fruit cake, half chocolate and peanut butter cake. Possibly the biggest cake I have ever made 🥰
I bet this was one epic party at the weekend 🥰🥳

Guys I know I'm sad, but seriously! Every time I'm asked to make a vegan cake I jump for joy because they're an absolute joy to make, all plant based and they bake the most beautiful, even sponges! I wish all my orders were vegan, beautiful sponges and no hunting for eggs 😂
